Samantha Lynn Kahler and Jordan Scarborough Mix, both of Williamsport, were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012.

The Rev. Salvatore Vitko officiated at the ceremony held at DiSalvo’s Courtyard.

A rehearsal dinner was held at the Valley Inn and Abbey Wright Brewing Co., South Williamsport, and a reception was held in DiSalvo’s Grand Ballroom.

The bride is the daughter of Deborah and Dale Kahler, Pennsdale. She graduated from Muncy High School in 2005 and received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Bloomsburg University in 2009. She is pursuing a master’s degree in educational development and strategies at Wilkes University, Wilkes-Barre. She is employed by Montgomery Area School District as a first grade teacher and head girls’ varsity soccer coach.

Mix is the son of Cynthia and Jeffry Mix, South Williamsport. He graduated from South Williamsport Area High School in 2001 and received a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Bloomsburg University in 2005. He is employed by Construction Specialties, Inc., Muncy, as a purchasing supervisor.

Maid of honor was Samantha Velkoff, Raleigh, N.C.

Bridesmaids were Samantha Hogan, Perkasie, and Amanda Turner, Williamsport.

Best man was Nathan Hess, Chicago, Ill.

Ushers were Bradley Davis, Chicago; Cory Kehler, Williamsport; and Eric Kahler, Jersey Shore, brother of the bride.
