Emily Elizabeth Tokarz, Montoursville, and Joshua Stephen Keener, Williamsport, were united in marriage Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012.

The Rev. John K. Manno officiated the ceremony held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Montoursville.

A rehearsal dinner was held at the Community Arts Center and a reception was held at DiSalvo’s Grand Ballroom.

The bride is the daughter of Donna and Gerard Tokarz, Montoursville. She graduated from Montoursville Area High School in 2007 and received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, Spanish, from Coastal Carolina University, Conway, S.C., in 2011. She is employed by Beaufort Middle School, Beaufort, S.C., as a Spanish teacher.

Keener is the son of Cheryl and Stephen Keener, Williamsport. He graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 2007 and received a bachelor’s degree in business management from Coastal Carolina University in 2011. He is employed by Easton-Bell Sports in baseball marketing.

Maid of honor was Madeline Swoyer, Montoursville.

Bridesmaids were Stephanie Shearer, Scranton; Kayla Missigman, Roanoke, Va., cousin of the bridegroom; Maggie Keener, Williamsport, sister of the bridegroom; Gabrielle Buonanna, De Pere, Wis.; and Sarah Dumoff, Allentown.

Best man was Jim Birmingham, Pine Hill, N.J.

Groomsmen were Nicholas Keener, Mansfield, brother of the bridegroom; Austin Tokarz, State College, brother of the bride; Erik Tokarz, Pittsburgh, brother of the bride; Garret Williams, Williamsport; Chance Gilmore, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and Cody Wheeler, Spotsylvania, Va.

Following a ski trip to Gore Mountain, North Creek, N.Y., the couple is residing in Beaufort, S.C.
