Andrea Laird, Cogan Station, and Jesse Velarde, Stockertown, were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013.
The Rev. Timothy Hartzell officiated at the ceremony held at Faith Wesleyan Church.
A reception was held at the Holiday Inn.
The bride is the daughter of Rebecca and Timothy Laird, Cogan Station. She graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 2003 and received a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from Houghton College, Houghton, N.Y., in 2007.
Velarde is the son of Orlando Velarde and Jeanne Bapov, both of Atlanta, Ga. He graduated from Pebblebrook High School, Mableton, Ga., in 1994 and received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Kennesaw State University, Kennesaw, Ga., in 2005.
Maid of honor was Leila Laird, Cogan Station, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Sara Fore, Sinking Springs, and Nicki Mechtly, Johnson City, Tenn.
Flower girl was Elizabeth Brungard.
Ring bearer was Levi Knepp.
Best man was John Velarde, Arlington heights, Ill., brother of the bridegroom.
Groomsmen were Joseph Velarde, Allentown, brother of the bridegroom, and Bryan Peters, Fogelsville.
The couple is residing in Coopersburg.
