Sara Rachel Bartholomew, of South Williamsport, and Brian Timothy Scott, of Ulysses, were united in marriage at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013.
Monsignor Stephen McGough officiated at the ceremony held at St. Boniface Catholic Church.
A rehearsal dinner was held at The James at the Holiday Inn and a reception was held at DiSalvo’s Restaurant.
The bride is the daughter of Lisa and David Bartholomew, of South Williamsport. She graduated from South Williamsport Area High School in 2006 and received a bachelor’s degree in music from Lycoming College in 2012. She is employed by Mona Lisa Cakes and is a voice teacher.
Scott is the son of Linda and Timothy Scott, of Ulysses. He graduated from Northern Potter High School, Ulysses, in 2007 and received a bachelor’s degree in music with an education certification from Lycoming College in 2011. He is employed by Northern Tioga School District, Westfield, as an elementary music teacher at Westfield Elementary School.
Maid of honor was Brianna Gorsline, of Montoursville, cousin of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Erica Matteson, of Whitesville, N.Y., sister of the bridegroom; Lindsay Burkhart, of Mill Hall; Emily Kelchner, of Arlington, Va.; Leanda Hill, of Elimsport; and Kayla Sassaman, of Freeburg.
Flowergirl was Eliana Bonner, second cousin of the bride.
Ringbearer was Holden Matteson, nephew of the bridegroom.
Best man was Craig Scott, of Hastings, brother of the bridegroom.
Groomsmen were Zac Putman, of Westfield; Rocky Bartholomew, of South Williamsport, brother of the bride; Nick Stanton, of Charlotte, N.C.; and Cameron Cowburn, of Wellsboro.
The couple took a a nine-day trip to Virginia Beach, Va., and Colonial Williamsburg, Va.
