Ashley Marie Bonus, of Montoursville, and Bryan Elliott Rupert, of Trout Run, were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013.
The Rev. Edson J. Wood officiated at the ceremony held at the United States Military Academy, West Point, N.Y.
A rehearsal dinner was held in West Point and a reception was held in Newburgh, N.Y.
The bride is the daughter of Wendy and David Bonus, of Montoursville. She graduated from Montoursville Area High School in 2010 and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in elementary and middle-level education 4 through 8 at Lock Haven University.
Rupert is the son of Janice and John Rupert, of Trout Run. He graduated from Montoursville Area High School in 2008 and received a degree in geography and GIS from the United States Military Academy this year. He is serving in the Army.
Maid of honor was Shannon Gray, of Keystone Heights, Fla.
Bridesmaids were Kerri Bonus, sister of the bride; and Kaitlyn Waclawski, both of Montoursville; Megan Sargent; Kayla Quinn, of East Stroudsburg; and Ashley Rupert, of Trout Run, sister of the bridegroom.
Flower girls were Sasha Champine, of West Point, and Gabrielle Nelson, of Central City, second cousin of the bride.
Best man was Greg Ecklin, of West Point.
Groomsmen were Grant Myers, of Montoursville; Chaz Smigen, Mitch Johnson and Justin Raab, all of West Point; Scotty Sabbatini, of Annapolis, Md.; and Ryan Bonus, of Montoursville, brother of the bride.
The couple is residing in Fort Rucker, Ala.
