Chelsea Lynn Maurice, of Carlisle, and Joel Daniel Holmes, of Danville, were united in marriage June 1, 2013.

The Rev. Thomas Holmes officiated at the ceremony held at The Two Mile House, Carlisle, where a reception also was held.

A rehearsal dinner was held at The Rustic, Carlisle.

The bride is the daughter of Donna and Donald Maurice, of Carlisle. She graduated from Carlisle High School in 2008 and received a bachelor’s degree in social work from University of Pittsburgh in 2012. She is employed by the Allegheny County Department of Human Services as a caseworker.

Holmes is the son of Beth and Bryan Holmes, of Danville. He graduated from Danville High School in 2008 and received a bachelor’s degree in computer science from University of Pittsburgh in 2011. He is employed by PNC Bank, Pittsburgh, as a software engineer.

Maid of honor was Maggie Maurice, of Carlisle, sister of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Summer Turner, of Carlisle, cousin of the bride; Emily Holmes, of Danville, sister of the groom; and Allison Eberly, of Carlisle.

Junior groomsman and ringbearer was Dillon Turner, cousin of the bride.

Best man was Cody Johnson, of Danville.

Groomsmen were Joshua Holmes, of Vandergrift, cousin of the groom; Christian LaMotte, of Danville; and Devin Knisely, of York.

Following a wedding trip to Finger Lakes, N.Y., the couple is residing in Pittsburgh.
