Dr. Breanna Winder, of Philadelphia, and Dr. Chiraag Patel, of Roseville, Calif., were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 31, 2013.
Dr. Yogen Kanthi officiated at the ceremony held at the Little Theater, Scottish Rite of Freemasonry.
A Mehndi Night was held at DiSalvo’s Restaurant and a reception was held at The Acacia Club.
The bride is the daughter of Peggy and David Winder, of Montgomery. She graduated from Mon-tgomery Area High School in 1997. She received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from West Chester University in 1997; a master’s degree in psychology from Boston University, Boston, in 2003; and a doctorate degree in clinical developmental psychology from Bryn Mawr College in 2013. She is a postdoctoral fellow at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, with specialties in autism spectrum disorder and anxiety disorders in children.
Patel is the son of Mr. Shashi, of Roseville, and the late Vina Patel. He graduated from Jesuit High School, Carmichael, Calif, in 1995. He received a bachelor’s degree in microbiology with minors in English and women’s studies from University of California, Davis, Davis, Calif., in 2000; a doctorate degree in medicine from Northeastern Ohio Medical University in 2005; and a fellowship in allergy, asthma and immunology from the University of Pennsylvania and The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in 2011. He is employed by Pulmonary Medical Associates, Sacramento, Calif., as an allergy and asthma immunologist.
Matron of honor was Tysa Sten, of Washington, Pa., sister of the bride.

The couple took a wedding trip to Chiang Mai, Koh Samui, Phuket, Phi Phi Islands, and Bangkok, Thailand, in December 2013, and will reside in Northern California in July.
