Hiller-Knox

Jolene Mae Hiller, of South Williamsport, and Ryan Allen Knox, of Flor-ence, S.C., were united in marriage at 1 p.m. Dec. 21, 2013.

The Rev. John Manno officiated at the ceremony held at Our Lady of Lourdes, Montoursville.

A rehearsal dinner was held at Jeremiah’s at the Bullfrog and a reception was held at the Acacia Club.

The bride is the daughter of Louann and Todd Fortin, of South Williamsport, and Edward Hiller, of Hughesville. She graduated from the former Bishop Neumann High School, now Saint John Neumann Regional Academy, in 2009. She received an associate degree in criminal justice from Horry-Georgetown Technical College, Conway, S.C., in 2011, and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Coastal Carolina University, Conway, in 2013.

Knox is the son of Cindy and Reggie Knox, of Florence, S.C. He graduated from West Florence High School in 2008 and is pursuing a degree in radiology at Horry-Georgetown Technical College. He is a Marine Corps veteran and has received a Purple Hearth and the Navy and Marine Achievement Award.

Maid of honor was Lauren Hiller, of Shelton, Conn., sister of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Marilyn Hiller, of South Williamsport, sister of the bride; Carinne Beiter, of Williamsport; Mackenzie Gordon; and Emily Detmering, both of Myrtle Beach; and Amanda Knight, of Cleveland, Ohio.

Flower girl was Richai Beiter.

Best man was Jorge Palacios, of Aventura, Fla.

Groomsmen were Tyler Knox, of Florence, brother of the groom; Bernie Marquez, of Euless, Texas; Bobby Chilelli, of Brooklyn, N.Y.; James Borzillieri, of Buffalo, N.Y.; and Paul Donahuge, of Philadelphia.

The couple is residing in Myrtle Beach.
