Elizabeth Anne Knipe, of Liberty, and Brandon James Burger, of South Byron, New York, were united in marriage at 11 a.m. March 15.

They were married by the Rev. Robin Baer at St. Paul Calvary United Methodist Church.

The bride is the daughter of Sara Jane and Sharrel Knipe, of Liberty. She graduated from Liberty High School in 1996. She received a bachelor’s degree in English and secondary education from Albright College, Reading, in 2000 and a master’s degree in media study from The State University of New York at Buffalo, Buffalo, New York, in 2008.

Burger is the son of Kay Burger, of South Byron, and the late Raymond Burger Jr. He graduated from Byron Bergen High School, Bergen, New York, in 1995 and is pursuing a degree in history at The State University of New York Empire State College, Saratoga Springs, New York.

Bridesmaids were Amy Anders, and Susan, Stacy and Zoey Knipe.

Groomsmen were Justin Burger, Chad Johnson, Scott Develder and Matt Mahr.

Following a wedding trip to Ontario and Quebec, Canada, the couple is residing in Scottsville, New York.
