Dorothy “Dottie” Rowe White, of Loyalsock Township, and Robert “Bob” K.H. Mertz, of Montoursville, were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. June 29, 2013.

The Revs. Paul Fontanella and Arlene Beechert officiated at the ceremony held at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Loyalsock Township.

A rehearsal dinner was held at The Villa Restaurant and a reception was held at the Williamsport Country Club.

The bride is the daughter of Helen C. and James G. Rowe, of Roanoke, Virginia. She graduated from Roanoke Catholic High School in 1972 and received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Thomas Edison State College, Trenton, New Jersey, in 1992. She is employed as a tax collector in Loyalsock Township.

Mr. Mertz is the son of the late Margaret E. and Kenneth A. Mertz. He graduated from Allentown High School in 1962 and attended Penn State University. He is employed by Schneider Valley Farms Dairy as general manager.

Matron of honor was Jane Clapps.

Bridesmaids were Mary Rowe Davis and Teresa Rowe Bugas, sisters of the bride.

Ring bearer was Scott K. Mertz, grandson of the groom.

Best man was Richard Langer.

Groomsmen were Gary Mertz, brother of the groom, and Robert S. Mertz, son of the groom.

Following a trip to Olde Hickory Golf and Country Club, Fort Myers, Florida, the couple is residing in Loyalsock Township.
