Dr Kathryn Elizabeth Somers and Dr. Matthew Janos Sabo, both of Rochester, New York, were united in marriage at 4 p.m. June 7.

The Rev. Jack Porcello officiated at the ceremony held at the Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School.

A rehearsal dinner was held at Rochester Academy of Medicine and a reception was held in Rochester.

The bride is the daughter of Drs. Nancy and William Somers, of Cogan Station. She graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 2002. She received a bachelor’s degree in English from Duke University, Durham, North Carolina, in 2006, and a doctorate degree in medicine from University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2012. She is employed as a dermatology resident at University of Rochester Medical Center.

Sabo is the son of Elizabeth and Robert Sabo, of Moorestown, New Jersey. He graduated from Moorestown High School in 2002. He received a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Rowan University, Glassboro, New Jersey, in 2007, and a doctorate degree in medicine from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, Newark, New Jersey, in 2012. He is employed by University of Rochester Medical Center as an anesthesiology resident.

Maid of honor was Emma Somers, sister of the bride.

Flower girl was Fiona Somers, niece of the bride.

Ring bearer was Liam Somers, nephew of the bride.

Best man was Daniel Sabo, brother of the bride.

Groomsmen were Andrew and Michael Somers, brothers of the bride.

Following a trip to Castries, St. Lucia, the couple is residing in Rochester.
