Lydia Jean Lorson, of Linden, and Alex James Plankenhorn, of South Williamsport, were united in marriage at 4 p.m. May 21, 2016.

The Rev. Kevin Brophy officiated at the ceremony held in Larryville.

A rehearsal dinner was held at Waltz Creamery and Farm House Cafe, Salladasburg.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s grandmother, Cogan Station.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Lorson, of Linden. She graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 2013 and received a degree in ministry leadership with a concentration in women’s ministry from Moody Bible Institute, Chicago.

Plankenhorn is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Plankenhorn, of South Williamsport. He graduated from South Williamsport Area High School in 2013 and received a certificate in structural welding from Central Pennsylvania Institute of Science and Technology, Pleasant Gap, in 2015. He is employed by High Steel Structures as a bridge welder.

Matron of honor was Haley Brooks, of Raunds, United Kingdom, sister of the bride.

Maid of honor was Cornell Lorson, of Linden, sister of the bride.

Flower girls were Madison Reske, of Pasadena, Maryland, cousin of the groom; and Norah Brooks, of Raunds, United Kingdom, niece of the bride.

Ring bearer was Brayden Reske, of Pasadena, cousin of the groom.

Best man was Clifford Horn, of Linden, grandfather of the groom.

Groomsman was Luke Plankenhorn, of South Williamsport, brother of the groom.

Following a trip to St. Martin, the couple resides in South Williamsport.
