Montoursville graduate ties the knot

Kathryn Marie and Isaac Matthew Shoemaker, of Reading, Kan., were wedded on May 25, 2019, at 4 p.m., by Rev. Brad Bowen at the Calvary Chapel in Emporia, Kan.

The former Kathryn Marie Cowles, of Emporia, Kan., is the daughter of Jeffery and brenda Cowles, of Cogan Station. She graduated from Montoursville Area High School in 2005. She is employed as a field accounting manager at Day and Zimmermann, in St. Mary’s, Kan.

Isaac is the son of Mark and Wanda Shoemaker, of Reading, Kan. He graduated from Northern Heights High School, of Allen, Kan., in 2009. He is employed as a safety captain for Tyson Fresh Meats in Emporia, Kan.

The matron of honor was Nicole Borrell, cousin of the bride, of Lebanon; bridesmaid Dee Flaharty, aunt of the bride, of Morrisdale.

The best man was friend of the groom, Josh Umholtz, of Emporia, Kan., and groomsman Cody Webb, of El Dorado, Kan.

The newlyweds are planning a wedding trip to Corpus Christi, Texas. They reside in Lebo, Kan.
