New business spotlight on Express Party Bus
Two local businessmen have teamed up to launch a limousine service they feel is ideal for parties, weddings and day-trip destinations.
The Express Party Bus seats up to 14 people and offers all the amenities for making short and long journeys both festive and comfortable.
“It’s a service business,” said Luther Aungst, co-owner of the business. “We go to the people.”
The bus is equipped with comfortable bench seats, a big-screen television, and a lighting system to add a party atmosphere.
Passengers can even bring their own music to play.
Aungst referred to it as transportation for people who don’t want to drive.
“They can sit in here and face each other,” he said. “There’s room in the back to put your luggage.”
The bus is equipped with coolers for storing beverages.
Aungst said the bus is not designed to provide alcohol, although passengers can bring their own for trips.
He and Cimini say their bus is perfect for parties of people who want to take in such activities as wine tasting trips to the Finger Lakes.
“We are just a couple of guys providing a local service,” Aungst said. “We want people to have the best time they can have.”
But they feel their limousine business is a little bit different than others in the area.
Cimini said the two had to secure a special state license to provide a limousine service.
Both operate other businesses.
Aungst has a photography business and Cimini owns and operates Lycoming Spray Foam.
The Express Party Bus offers them a new challenge.
Eventually, they hope to grow the business and perhaps provide a fleet of limousines.
