New restaurant to open Monday with free wings
Buffalo Wild Wings has arrived in Williamsport.
The restaurant known for its Buffalo-style chicken wings and 21 signature sauces and seasonings will open its doors 11 a.m. Monday at 25 Liberty Lane.
“We are very excited to be bringing the Buffalo Wild Wings experience to Williamsport and we look forward to becoming a part of this dynamic community,” said Kathy Benning, executive vice president of global brand and business development for Buffalo Wild Wings.
Company officials describe Buffalo Wild Wings as the “destination for wing fanatics and sports fans alike with its unique experience, flavorful food and fun, energetic atmosphere.”
Buffalo Wild Wings represents just one of the most recent business developments occurring along Williamsport’s Golden Strip.
Founded in 1982 and with 930 locations in the U.S. and Canada, Buffalo Wild Wings offer a menu that also includes specialty burgers and sandwiches, fingers foods, wraps, salad and “naked tenders.”
The Williamsport location will include big screens and wall-to-wall HD TVs for sports viewing.
To celebrate the grand opening, the sports grill and bar will offer free wings for a year to the first 100 guests in line for the restaurant’s 11 a.m. opening.
Patrons are encouraged to arrive early and to remain present until the doors open to receive their prizes.
