The October meeting of the Williamsport Inventor’s Club will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, and will be a general discussion meeting.
The Inventor’s Club is designed to educate, foster collaboration and networking and give attendees the tools, resources and knowledge they need to move their inventions forward.
The Innovative Manufacturers’ Center is host to the Williamsport/Lycoming Keystone Innovation Zone, which has provided program support to the Williamsport Inventor’s Club since its founding in 2007. Meetings take place on the fourth Wednesday of most months and are open to the public. All attendees are asked to sign a confidentiality agreement prior to the start of each meeting to protect the inventors and information exchanged.
Attendance is free and open to the public; however, registration is required for this meeting.

Human resources group to look at
The West Branch Human Resources Society will host a seminar on changes in workers compensation from 8 to 10:30 a.m., Nov. 9, at the Williamsport Country Club, 800 Country Club Drive.
The West Branch Human Resource Society will host attorneys from The McCormick Law Firm for our November meeting. The event will include what employers need to know about changes in workers compensation and OSHA regulations. Bob Eckenrode and Joanne Ludwikowski are the seminar’s featured presenters.
The West Branch Human Resources Society serves human resource professionals from a variety of business and industries throughout northcentral Pennsylvania. The society meets monthly on the second Wednesday of every month between September and May.
