Martha Barrick, broker/owner of Coldwell Banker Penn One Real Estate has announced the office’s monthly awards for the month of January. The award for most gross commission closed was awarded to Doug Wertz. Lise Barrick received the listing agent of the month award and Doug Wertz also received the sales agent of the month award, according to a news release.
“Lise and Doug, have been in real estate for a number of years and have shown complete dedication and excellence in all of their real estate transactions,” said Barrick.

Bank names
vice president
Rebecca A. Bingaman has been named vice president at West Milton State Bank, a news release said. Bingaman joined West Milton State Bank as a credit manager in 2014 and has been in banking for 23 years. She received her general banking diploma through the Pennsylvania Bankers’ Association, attended the Pennsylvania Bankers Association School of Compliance in 2016, and has completed various American Institute of Banking courses. In 2016 she was promoted to her current title, credit administration and underwriting manager and loan compliance officer.
Bingaman resides in Middleburg and enjoys writing various works in her free time. She is actively involved in the choir and ministries at Calvary Bible Church in Lewistown. She is a volunteer for the state Breast Cancer Coalition Conference and is the captain of the Bank’s Ta-Ta Trot team.
Woman promoted to assistant vice president
Lauren M. Hursh has been named assistant vice president at West Milton State Bank, according to a news release. Hursh began her banking career at West Milton State Bank in 2007 as a teller services representative while she was studying international business at Millersville University. Upon earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration, she was promoted to audit specialist. Hursh was promoted to her current title — internal auditor — in 2014. She has since completed the Certified Community Bank Internal Auditing Program and attended the Pennsylvania Bankers Association School of Compliance in 2016.
Hursh resides in Watsontown with her husband, Jeff. She enjoys visiting the different wineries and festivals throughout the Susquehanna Valley. She also spends her time reading, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
New assistant vice president for bank
Melissa S. Musser has been named assistant vice president at West Milton State Bank, according to a news release. Musser joined West Milton State Bank as operations manager in 2011 and has been in banking since 2007.
In 2015, she was promoted to her current title, operations manager/deposit compliance officer. Musser is certified as a community bank compliance officer through the Independent Community Banking Association. In 2016, she attended the Pennsylvania Bankers Association School of Compliance. Musser is a graduate of Susquehanna University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Musser resides in Milton with her husband, Jared, and their two children. She is a member of the Milton Rotary Club. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
