New business spotlight on Fairfield BMW
To meet customer demand for luxury vehicles, Fairfield Auto Group has introduced its ninth location just outside Pennsdale.
Fairfield BMW officially opened its doors Aug. 18 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
“This new location will be instrumental in helping Fairfield Auto Group better serve our customers. Fairfield has been a mainstay in Central Pa., and we hope to continue that tradition as we open the doors to our new BMW store,” said Fairfield General Manager, Rick Quigley.
The dealership, located at 205 Lycoming Mall Drive, features an eight-car showroom, five service bays and a delivery bay.
It includes a customer lounge and drive-through service lane protecting customers from inclement weather.
“It’s more of a service-friendly environment for our customers,” Fairfield BMW General Manager Courtney McFarlane said.
The dealership will carry between 25 and 40 new BMWs as well as a “high-line” used cars, including Mercedes, Ranger Rovers and Porsches.
McFarlane noted that construction of the facility was finished near the end of June.
He said the “state-of-the-art” service department represents a key component of the dealership.
Fairfield Auto Group opened its first location in Montoursville, Fairfield Ford, in 1986.
That site later expanded to house two additional brands, Volkswagen and BMW.
Fairfield officials noted that while BMW has long been a part of the original Fairfield Automall, the new location will better serve local Fairfield luxury customers, as well as those who are willing to travel to find their “ultimate driving machine.”
Fairfield is touted as one of the largest dealerships in central Pennsylvania, carrying 13 different brands.
