New business spotlight on TCC-Montoursville
A new store has opened in the Walmart Plaza offering Verizon products and services.
Sean Morgan is owner and operator of TCC-Montoursville.
“I always wanted to open my own doors,” Morgan, a former regional director of TCC-Verizon stores said.
Morgan said he has a friendly and knowledgeable staff who can take care of customers’ wireless needs.
The independently owned and operated store opened in November. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Dec. 8.
“I’m extremely excited,” Morgan said. “It is something I dreamed of doing for a long time.”
The store provides walk-in service for technical service and support. Customers can also can make appointments.
“If you are a business owner, we’ll come to you,” Morgan said.
He said he’s tried to create an environment where customers feel comfortable and are not treated as he put it, “like a number.”
Store staff, he noted, does its best to minimize wait times for patrons.
Morgan said giving back to the community is part of the store’s philosophy.
In February, TCC-Montoursville plans a Teacher Appreciation Day and a Backpack Giveaway Day for students in August.
“So when you shop with us, you are investing in our community because we give back, and really believe strongly in doing that,” he said.
