The First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania announces the addition of Michael Vuocolo to its staff.

Vuocolo, according to a news release, joined the foundation’s team in November as director of planned philanthropy.  He brings with him a thirty year banking career primarily focused on commercial lending and business development within the Susquehanna Valley. Vuocolo holds a bachelor’s degree from Lock Haven University and is a graduate of the Bucknell School of Commercial Lending and Leadership Lycoming.

In Vuocolo’s new role, he is responsible for the ongoing strategic planning and management of the Foundation’s program for planned giving.

“I am excited FCFP has entrusted me with the important responsibility of working with donors as they create or further establish their legacy and giving plans,” Vuocolo said, according to the news release.

Vuocolo is a board member and past president of the Williamsport Symphony Orchestra. He is also a member of the Revolving Loan Fund Committee, administered by the Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce, and previously was a board member of the Pennsylvania College of Technology Foundation. Vuocolo resides in Loyalsock Township with his wife and three children.

The First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania works regionally and locally to bring together people, partners and places to grow local giving and investment, strengthen area organizations and results, and take on the critical issues and efforts needed to build vibrant communities and a thriving north central Pennsylvania region, the news release said.
