SWC to celebrate grand opening in Lock Haven

LOCK HAVEN — SWC Realty has a new office in downtown Lock Haven serving all of Central Pennsylvania.

To celebrate the expansion, a grand opening and open house will be held at the new office from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20.

SWC has a fully renovated space at 7 W. Main St., just two doors from the U.S. Post Office and near Triangle Park.

The new office is an expansion from the agency’s busy location on West Third Street in the west end of Williamsport. That office opened about 18 months ago.

“People can come meet our real estate agents and see what we can provide for them,” said SWC Managing Broker Missy Magargle.

The new SWC location will house 12 real estate agents serving the entire region.

“Sold With Confidence is what SWC stands for because we believe and heavily invest in marketing our clients’ properties,” Magargle said. “People want a brokerage that will market their homes aggressively. With our extensive toolbox of marketing across multiple platforms, we are able to do that.”

The SWC marketing strategy includes extensive advertising in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, The (Lock Haven) Express, magazines, direct mail, as well as postcards, sales flyers and home guides.

“SWC recognizes the value of print media advertising and digital marketing as a big part of our approach,” Magargle said.

It includes social media advertising as well as partnering with real estate websites to point customers to photo galleries of available properties.

The agency’s web site is www.swcrealty.com.

“We offer professional photography for listings,” Magargle noted.

SWC’s business partnerships have aided SWC’s marketing efforts.

“Our partnerships with local, regional and statewide media and marketing companies give our clients the advantage to sell their homes quickly and for the best possible price,” Magargle said. “We also belong to a national multiple listing service (MLS) called ‘MyState MLS,’ that helps sellers. Because of that affiliation with Mystate, SWC listings go out to hundreds of websites domestically and internationally.”

The open house, meanwhile, will offer giveaways and refreshments, along with food provided by Stella A’s.

“We have a gift certificate for lodging at Seven Springs Mountain Resort and a golf outing to Seven Springs. There are also four tickets that are Hyundai Club seats at PNC Park for the Pittsburgh Pirates’ game versus the Cincinnati Reds on Sept. 28. Those tickets are valued at $280 a piece,” Magargle said.
