Grateful for a Catholic education

By Molly Foresman

Grade 6

I attend St. John Neumann Regional Academy, the only Catholic school in Lycoming County.

My Catholic education means so much to me. It not only means an exceptional education that will help me get into a good college, but it also means that I can practice my Catholic faith all day, every day.

There are many things I love about my school.

All of the teachers are kind and dedicated; they have our best interests at heart and make learning fun.

Our school is small, so we are all friends.

I feel safe here.

I also love that we can talk about God and pray every day, as well as live our faith by participating in many community service projects.

I am thankful for not only the outstanding academic education I am getting at SJNRA, but also for the extra opportunities.

We have subjects such as French, Spanish, music, art and activities such as Odyssey of the Mind, Girls on the Run, Interscholastic Reading competition and so much more.

I believe my Catholic education has given me a good work ethic, strong leadership skills and the ability to make good moral decisions in life. I always will be grateful for my Catholic education.
