Jersey Shore students achieve at FBLA state conference

JERSEY?SHORE – Members of the Jersey Shore Area High School Future Business Leaders of America attended the Pennsylvania State Leadership Conference in Hershey. The FBLA members competed against approximately 3,800 high school students from across the state for a chance to advance to the national competition. Out of 47 members, 14 students placed in the top 10 of their event with eight members qualifying for national competition in Anaheim, Calif.

In order to advance to the National FBLA Conference the students had to place in the top of their state. During the FBLA Virtual Business Challenge Fall Competition, the Jersey Shore team of Victoria Barrows, Alexander Eckard and Tyler Sanford placed 2nd in the nation and 1st in the state to qualify for nationals. The remaining Jersey Shore members qualified for nationals at the State Leadership Conference in the following competitive events: Gabrielle Antonicelli, 1st in impromptu speaking; the team of Dan Wrench and Logan Beaver, 1st in network design; the team of Alex Eckard, Rick Crossen and Kyle Ryan, 3rd in network design.
