Lions Club names Citizen of the Month

JERSEY SHORE – The Jersey Shore Lions’ Club Citizen of the Month for April is Luke James Lilley, son of Greg and Hannah Lilley of Jersey Shore.

Lilley has been an active member of the Bible Club for four years. He also has participated in Model U.N. and the Lego Club. As a member of these organizations, he has served as vice-president of the Lego Club and as treasurer of the Bible Club for the past two years.

Outside school, Lilley is very active in his church community. He is a member of the church choir and the youth group. He also volunteers his time and talent at New Tribes Mission’s Wayumi Campus. In addition, Lilley works as a lawn mower for Dunlap’s and for the Jersey Shore Airport. He also is employed by Sheetz.

Lilley is a regular member of the honor roll and has been recognized by faculty at Jersey Shore High School for his positive influence within the school.

He enjoys reading, bike riding and enjoying the outdoors. He plans to attend New Tribes Bible Institute in Wankesha, Wis., to become either a foreign or domestic missionary.
