Moose International R. Robert Dale Scholarship winners announced
Logan Rook and Kendra Toseki are recipients of a 2013 Moose International R. Robert Dale Scholarship in the amount of $1,000 each.
Rook is a senior at Canton High School and Toseki is a senior at Muncy High School.
R. Robert Dale Scholarship winners must be the child or grandhild of – or under legal guardinanship of – a member of the Moose fraternal organization; and must carry at least a 2.5 accumulated grade point average.
Since 1986, the Moose fraternity has awarded 1,414 scholarships in excess of $1.4 million to qualifying students associated with Moose Lodges and chapters across North America.
Moose International, headquartered at Mooseheart, Ill., is a fraternal and service organization founded in 1888, comprising nearly 1.1 million members throughout the U.S., Canada, Great Britain and Bermuda.
The Moose organization founded and continues to support Mooseheart Child City and School, a 1,000-acre community and school for children and teens in need, and the Moosehaven retirement community, a 70-acre campus for qualified retired members and their spouses, located in Orange Park, Fla. Additionally, the Moose organization annually conducts more than $75 million in community service throughout North America.
