Students selected for Moose Youth Awareness Program
Jersey Shore Area High school officials recently selected several students with academic ability and leadership qualities to participate in the Moose Youth Awareness Program, sponsored by Jersey Shore Moose Family Center, 214 and Women of the Moose Chapter 42.
The students completed requirements including at least three “Moose Kids Talk” presentations to 4 to 9 year old children, using topics of their choice to inspire them to pursue healthy lifetime choices and avoid adverse situations.
Each student was given $1,000 from the Jersey Shore Moose Family Center 214 for completing their project.
Students selected for the Moose Youth Awareness Program are Gabrielle Antonicelli, Kaylene Mainle, Megan Brookens and Katie Flook.
Antonicelli’s presentation was chosen by her peers as fifth place out of at least 100 students that participated throughout the PA Moose Centers.
