James Hufnagle named Lions Club Citizen of the Month

The Jersey Shore Lions Club Citizen of the Month for May is James Mason Hufnagle III, son of Tanya and Jim Hufnagle, Antes Fort.

Hufnagle’s activities include Bible Club, wrestling, National Honor Society, football and track and field.

Outside of school, he has volunteered his time to flood clean up and his church youth group. In addition, he was an elementary wrestling coach through his sophomore year. He has held a position with Camerer Farms and is employed at McDonalds.

Hufnagle has earned two varsity letters in both football and track. He has several nominations for the People to People international outreach program and is a regular member of the distinguished honor roll.

He enjoys fishing, football, wrestling, track, coaching and many outdoor activities. He plans to attend Temple University and major in chemistry with pharmaceutical research. He also is interested in continuing his coaching avocation.
