National Honor Society inducts IUP student
INDIANA, Pa. A local student was selected for membership in Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society.
Bradley Taylor, Muncy, an accounting major at IUP, was inducted into the honor society.
The organization is open to freshmen students who achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. IUP’s Phi Eta Sigma chapter members participate in a number of projects annually, ranging from blood drives for the American Red Cross to volunteer service with the IUP Allegheny Arboretum project.
Taylor is the son of Shawn and Trudy Taylor and a 2012 graduate of Muncy High School. He also is a member of Phi Beta Lambda business organization and won a state award in accounting from the society. He has been involved in service projects for the Ronald McDonald House and the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life.
