BU’s Wind Ensemble will perform symphony music in concert
BLOOMSBURG – Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania’s Wind Ensemble will perform symphonic music in their concert at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Haas Center for the Arts, Mitrani Hall. Admission is free and open to the public.
Under the direction of Stephen Clickard, chair of music, theatre and dance, the concert has been dubbed the “Wind Ensemble Goes to the Symphony.” The ensemble will perform Franz Liszt’s “Hungarian Rhapsody,” Camille Saint-Saens’ “Dance Macabra,” Antonin Dvor(‘k’s “Finale from the New World Symphony,” Maurice Ravel’s “Bolero,” Peter Tschaikovsky’s “March Slav” and Luigi Denza “Funiculi-Funicula Rhapsody.”
