Jersey Shore FBLA members place 1st in the state

JERSEY SHORE – Jersey Shore Area High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) announces that their Virtual Business Challenge fall team placed first in the state and nineth in the nation. The team of Leigh Ann Eisenhauer, Cortney Steinbacher and Brennan Eiswerth, competed as members of the “Grey Matter” Virtual Business Challenge team in the management category and placed first in the state of Pennsylvania and nineth in the nation out of 520 teams.

The Management team will be advancing to the FBLA National Leadership Conference in Nashville, Tenn., during the summer of 2014.

The Management category is an online business simulation where students are competing nationwide while making decisions regarding personnel, production, inventory, shipping, and sales.

At the NLC, the members of the “Grey Matter” team will be a part of the “Sweet 16” and compete head-to-head with other finalists throughout the nation.
