Jersey Shore FBLA qualify for national competition

JERSEY SHORE – Jersey Shore Senior High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) has announced that the members of “N3W K1DZ” Virtual Business Challenge team qualified during the spring session of competition and will advance to the FBLA National Leadership Conference in Nashville, Tenn. this summer.

The “N3W K1DZ” team includes Brandon Best, Alec Ream and Dillon Heller, who placed eighth in the nation out of 190 teams from across the country and first in the state of Pennsylvania.

The team members competed in a business simulation software program called Virtual Business Management, where they had to make decisions on managing, hiring, and supervising employees and the workflow management.

Another Jersey Shore team of Leigh Ann Eisenhauer, Cortney Steinbacher and Brennan Eiswerth placed ninth in the nation and first in the state out of 520 teams during the fall competition. At the NLC, the members of the Jersey Shore “N3W K1DZ” and “Grey Matter” teams, will both be a part of the “sweet 16” and compete head-to-head with other finalists from across the nation.
