Local students serve as Greek officers at Susquehanna University
SELINSGROVE – Three local students recently were chosen to serve as officers in Greek organizations at Susquehanna University. The officers work toward improving life at Susquehanna through community-building events and social activities.
Trey Bailey, of Williamsport, was chosen to serve as public relations officer of the Phi Beta Sigma fraternity at Susquehanna University. Bailey is a junior communications major with an emphasis in broadcasting at Susquehanna. He is a 2011 graduate of Williamsport Area High School.
Ian Endresen, of Jersey Shore, has been selected to serve as Interfraternity Council representative of the Phi Mu Delta fraternity at Susquehanna University. Endresen is a sophomore biology major at Susquehanna. A 2012 graduate of Jersey Shore High School, he is the son of Eric and Eileen Endresen.
Jack McAnany, of South Williamsport, was recently chosen to serve as chaplain of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity at Susquehanna University. McAnany is a junior anthropology major at Susquehanna. A 2011 graduate of South Williamsport Area High School, he is the son of William and Brenda McAnany.
Susquehanna is home to six national fraternities for men that comprise the Interfraternity Council: Phi Beta Sigma (Gamma Beta Alpha chapter), Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia (Lambda Beta chapter), Phi Mu Delta (Mu Alpha chapter), Pi Kappa Phi (Iota Epsilon chapter), Tau Kappa Epsilon (Iota Beta chapter) and Theta Chi (Beta Omega chapter).
Susquehanna also is home to five national sororities for women that comprise the Panhellenic Council: Alpha Delta Pi (Gamma Omicron chapter), Kappa Delta (Beta Upsilon chapter), Sigma Gamma Rho (Rho Theta chapter), Sigma Kappa (Epsilon Delta chapter) and Zeta Tau Alpha (Iota Nu chapter).
