Lycoming College wins three Educational Advertising Awards
The Higher Education Marketing Report recently presented Lycoming College with three Educational Advertising Awards. The awards given were based on exceptional quality, creativity and message effectiveness of created content.
The Educational Advertising Awards are the largest educational advertising competition in the country. This year, there were more than 2,000 submissions for the 27 award categories. Lycoming was selected among more than 1,000 colleges, universities and secondary schools from all 50 states and several foreign countries for recognition.
Among the awards received were: a silver medal in the logo category for the Warrior One Coffee logo, a bronze medal in the brochure category for the Lynn Science Center brochure, and merit in the special publications category for the 2014 Alumni Weekend schedule.
Judges for the Educational Advertising Awards consisted of a national panel of higher education marketers, advertising creative directors, marketing and advertising professionals and the editorial board of Higher Education Marketing Report. The industry specialist reviewed each piece; judging for creativity, marketing execution and messaging impact.
The Lycoming College Marketing and Communications Department developed the award-winning publications. The marketing and communications staff is comprised of James Raby, executive director of marketing and communications; Murray Hanford, publications manager; Elizabeth Greenaway, director of marketing and public relations; and Joe Guistina, sports information director.
