Peter Keller granted emeritus status at Mansfield

MANSFIELD – The Mansfield University Council of Trustees, upon the recommendation of President Fran Hendricks, granted emeritus status to retired professor and provost Peter Keller at its March 25 meeting.

Keller was a member of the psychology faculty from August 1974 until retiring in January 2014. He also served as provost and vice president for academic affairs from February 2009 until his retirement.

Emeritus status is granted to retired full-time faculty in recognition of dedicated service to Mansfield University. The action was based on the recommendation of the academic departments and Interim Provost Roy Stewart, and followed a poll of senior faculty.
