Students of the Month

Auman

Macoy E. Auman, son of Amy Moore and Timothy Auman, was named Outstanding Senior at Warrior Run High School for the month of December.

Auman is the president of the National Honor Society and is involved with Robotics Club, Technology Student Association and is on the special education Field day and Kelsey’s Dream 5K committees. He also participates in Boy Scouts of America and youth group at Zion Lutheran Church. He has been a member of the distinguished honor roll and is an Eagle Scout.

Following graduation, he plans to attend Wilkes university and major in mechanical engineering.

Welliver

Madison E. Welliver, daughter of Julie and Mark Welliver, was named Turbotoville Lions Club Student of the Month at Warrior Run High School for the month of December.

She is a member of the National Honor Society, Outdoor Club, concert choir and is the student council senior representative. She is the captain of the varsity girls soccer and basketball teams and a member of the tack and field team. She also is a volunteer basketball instructor at Christ Wesleyan Church, where she also is a member of the youth group and is a member of the Mid-Penn Motion AAU basketball team.

She has been a member of the distinguished honor roll and Defender Pride, has won Spanish awards, WRHS tri-athlete award, is an academic all-star, was named athlete of the year, HAC II first team goalie, HAC II first team forward and soccer player of the year.

Following graduation, she plans to attend college and major in biology or elementary education with a minor is special education. She also plans to play soccer and-or basketball at the college level.

Reed

Abigail J. Reed, daughter of Dawn Reed and Jake Reed, was named Watsontown Lions Club Student of the Month at Warrior Run High School for the month of December.

She is a member of the National Honor Society, is a concert choir officer, has participated in drama productions and school musicals and is president of the Drama Club and Tri-Hi-Y. She also is a church youth leader, has been a member of the distinguished honor roll and School Counts.

Following graduation, she plans to attend college and major in business or theater and pursue a master’s degree.

Begic

Alisa I. Begic, daughter of Ibisa and Timothy Begic, was named Milton Rotary Club Vocational Student of the Month at Warrior Run High School for the month of December.

She is enrolled in the drafting and design program at the Lycoming County career and Technology Center, Hughesville. She is a SkillsUSA state champion and national competition participant and has won the work ethic and technical skill awards.

Following graduation, she plans to attend Pennsylvania College of Technology and major in residential architecture and sustainability.
