4 local teams to compete in Odyssey of the Mind Worlds

Four local Odyssey of the Mind teams will be competing in the World Finals next month in Michigan following the state competition this past weekend.

The world-bound teams placed first or second in their respective problems at Moon Area High School near Pittsburgh.

The world competition will be held from May 24 to 27 at Michigan State University.

Following are the world-bound teams:

• Curtin Intermediate School placed first in Division I, “A Superhero Cliffhanger.”

• St. John Neumann Regional Academy took first place in Division III, “Odd-a-Bot.”

• Williamsport Area High School placed second in Division III, “It’s Time, Omer.”

• Montgomery Area Elementary School took second place in Division I, “Ready, Set, Balsa, Build!”
