Writer’s Nook: Student Author of the Week

Sea turtles are beautiful, harmless animals. They help the earth by eating bacteria out of the sea. Bacteria can make animals very sick. Sea turtles have been hunted for many years, so people can have their skin, their shell and their flippers. I feel that anglers should stop fishing in their habitat.

One way we can help sea turtles is by building more sea turtle conservation centers. Sea turtles cannot become extinct. Conservation centers will help sea turtles from becoming extinct. The people there will feed them, take care of them and help if they are hurt. Sea turtles are important to the environment. That is why we need to help sea turtles.
