Montgomery High School, Virtuoso,

presents … “Twelve Angry Jurors”

Virtuoso, the Montgomery High School music and theatre ensemble, will be presenting their fall play, “Twelve Angry Jurors,” at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday in the high school auditorium. Adapted for the stage by Sherman L. Sergel and licensed by The Dramatic Publishing Company, “Twelve Angry Jurors” tells the story of a jury facing the challenge of sending a young man to prison for murder. The play highlights the debate between the jurors and reveals powerful personal stories of the twelve throughout the course of the time they are sequestered.

Tickets will be sold at the door beginning at 5:30. There is a cost for tickets, with discounts available for students and senior citizens, age 65 and over.

Virtuoso has been in existence for 19 years, but is in its tenth season as a combined theatre and vocal ensemble. Virtuoso most recently performed the “The Miracle Worker “ last December and “Little Shop of Horrors” in April. The ensemble is co-directed by Carina McNear and Jessica Carpenter, with technical direction by James Carpenter.
