Meghan Hurley, a certified physician assistant, has joined the practice of Drs. Stuart Olinsky and Kristin Adams in their practice at Susquehanna Health Neurology, Williamsport Regional Medical Center, second floor, 700 High St.

Hurley received a bachelor of science and master of physician assistant sciences from Gannon University in Erie.

As a physician assistant, Hurley works closely with Olinsky and Adams to provide advanced care to neurology patients. She is educated in intensive medical programs accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant and obtained certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Like all physician assistants, Hurley can manage both acute and chronic illness, prescribe medications and maintain a collaborative relationship with physicians.

Geisinger physician

re-elected to board of Pa. medical association

DANVILLE – Dr. Timothy McCloskey has been re-elected to the board of trustees of the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association, an organization for physicians holding the doctor of osteopathic medicine degree.

McCloskey joined Geisinger in 2006 with the department of pediatric allergy and immunology at Geisinger Medical Center). He will serve as chairman of POMA’s District 6, as well as a delegate to POMA and the American Osteopathic Association at both the state and national level.

“I’m looking forward to continuing to serve with the association that is representative of over 7,000 physicians in the state,” McCloskey said.

Board certified in pediatrics and allergy/clinical immunology, he is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the state Allergy and Asthma Association, the Northeastern Pennsylvania Pediatric Society and the Irish American Pediatric Society.
