Program to focus on hernia pain
For the 5 million Americans who have a hernia, surgery is the only relief.
However, Evangelical Community Hospital’s Hernia Center works to make it possible for those suffering from a hernia to be set free from daily pain and discomfort without a long wait and will present an upcoming “Talk with the Doc Lecture” focusing on hernia pain.
The lecture is scheduled for Sept. 24 at Evangelical Community Hospital.
A complimentary meal will be held at 5:30 p.m., and the lecture will immediately follow.
Presented by Joseph M. Mucciolo, Jr., a board-certified surgeon at Evangelical Surgical Specialists, the talk will center on what causes a hernia to appear and the surgical procedures required to have total relief from hernia pain.Mucciolo leads Evangelical’s Hernia Center.
