Library offers free program on how to live headache-free
How do you get headaches and is it possible to avoid them? Are foods causing your headaches? Or is it chemicals, perfumes and artificial ingredients? Can you break the cycle of increased pain and increased medicine?
The James V. Brown Library will offer a free program about living a headache-free life at 6 p.m. Monday in the Welch Family Wing.
The program will provide tips and techniques for headache suffers so they can avoid reliance on medications.
Dr. Gregory Pais, a licensed naturopathic doctor, will share his 40 years of nutritional experience in the program.
Pais is board-certified in classical homeopathy and has been working with diet and nutrition since 1974.
“The library is grateful to Pais for continuing to volunteer his time over the past year to provide these free workshops to help our community,” said Shawn Newcomer, adult programming coordinator. “These programs help the library open new doors to lifelong learning for residents.”
The program open to the public and will be held in the Lowry Room on the third floor of the library.
Registration is suggested but not required.
