All those affected by cancer are invited to attend and are encouraged to bring loved ones to a support group addressing a wide variety of topics related to cancer and its treatment. Baby Cafe at The LifeCenter offers moms an opportunity to exchange tips about breastfeeding, receive breastfeeding support and discuss parenting concerns in a relaxed, child-friendly environment. All-Inclusive Blood Screenings at The LifeCenter

UPMC Susquehanna’s The LifeCenter at the Williamsport Branch YMCA will provide low-cost blood screenings from 6:30 am to noon on Wednesday, May 31 to help you be proactive about your health. Free spinal screenings will also be offered. Participants must consult with their health care provider about what test(s) may be most beneficial. Obtain a screening form from your provider and have them complete for the day of your screening. Cash, check or credit card payment is required at the time of service. Community Blood Drive

Keep the local blood supply strong with the Community Blood Bank. All are welcome to donate as long as it has been 56 days since last donation, and you are healthy, over 110 pounds and at least 17 years of age. Appointments are not necessary, but can be made if preferred.

Evaluation of prescribed and over-the-counter medications, vitamins, and herbal remedies to determine whether all are needed, if there is the potential for drug interactions, or if dosage adjustments are required.
