Pa. association of family campers plans campout
The Pennsylvania State Association of Family Campers and RVers will hold its annual campout from June 13-16 at Morrison Cove Memorial Park in Martinsburg, Blair County. Retirees may stay until June 18.
The association promotes family camoing and includes members across the nation and in Canada.
Activities during the campout will include a teen queen contest, hospitalities, games, hiking, a conservation poster contest for all ages, games and other entertainment. A church service will be held on Sunday morning.
When not involved in activities, members can socialize around the camp fire.

In addition to family camping, the association promotes conservation projects and disaster and safety awareness training. It also awards scholarships to students who meet certain criteria.
