Ulysses man crowned King of the Mountain

Organizers recently announced the results of the King of the Mountain Hill Climb snowmobile race, which was held March 15 at Ski Sawmill Family Resort in Morris.

The annual race is sponsored by Central Pennsylvania Sleds and Treads.

Barney Lampman, of Ulysses, was crowned the overall winner – the King of the Mountain. He rode a Yamaha Apex.

  • First, Hunter Poorman, of Hughesville; second, Krystal Howard, Coudersport.

Stock – 600

  • First, Hunter Poorman, Hughesville; second, Branden Cantone, Mehoopany.

  • First, Josh Kurtz, Fleetwood; second, Jacob Wood, Muncy.

Stock – 800

  • First, Scott Britton, Williamsport; second, Barry Britton, Marion, Conn.

  • First, Jerry Wehr, Kutztown; second, Branden Cantone, Mehoopany.
