Camp gets $3K grant
LAMAR – The Clinton County Conservation District recently received a $3,250 grant from the Dominion Foundation, an offshoot of Dominion Energy.
The funds will benefit the district’s Conservation Summer Day Camp, a weeklong program open to Clinton County boys and girls in grades 4 through 6.
This year’s camp is July 28-Aug. 1 at the Sieg Conference Center along Fishing Creek.
“The camp is an investment that teaches the youth of Clinton County how to properly manage our natural resources and create a more sustainable and environmentally friendly community,” said state Rep. Mike Hanna, D-Lock Haven.
