Convicted felon arrested after guns found in home
Convicted felon Eric Ray Jolin, 26, of 2348 Newberry St., was taken into custody Tuesday after his state parole officer discovered seven long guns in the home his shares with his parents, according to city police.
While doing a routine check on Jolin at his residence, the officer found the guns in his father’s bedroom. Jolin is being allowed to serve the remainder of his parole at his parents’ house on the condition that no weapons would be on the property, police said.
Jolin, convicted of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, was arraigned before District Judge James Carn on a firearm violation and released on $25,000 bail.
