Gun theft alleged
A Lancaster man has been arrested on charges of allegedly stealing a handgun from a Loyalsock Township home while he was permitted to live several months last year, according to state police.
Keith Lowell Anderson, 28, of Millersville, is accused of taking the handgun from Anthony Giovannelli’s home at 1800 Log Run Road sometime between April and November, police said.
Anderson has admitted to the theft and told the victim he sold the weapon “to pay off a drug debt,” police said.
Following his arraigned Monday before District Judge James Carn on felony charges of theft and receiving stolen property and one misdemeanor count of illegal sale of a firearm, Anderson was released on $25,000 bail.
