30-year-old accused of aiding teen’s effort to get fake ID card

A 30-year-old city woman faces charges for allegedly helping a 15-year-old Howard girl obtain an adult’s identity card so the teen could get alcoholic drinks at a local eatery, state police said.

Angela Lynn Turner, of 606 Third Ave., has been charged with corrupting the morals of a minor and providing a minor with an adult’s identity card on Oct. 5.

The incident came to the attention of police when they learned that the teenager was engaged in “an altercation” while she was at the eatery on Washington Boulevard in the city, court records state.

Turner has waived her preliminary hearing before District Judge Allen P. Page III and is free on $1,500 bail.
