13 sentenced in county court

Judges in Lycoming County recently sentenced 13 people in county court.

Two people were sentenced to state prison. They were:

Ryan A. Smith, 25, Lycoming County Prison, two to five years, 30 months’ state probation, credit for time served for distributing 0.48 grams of cocaine and 0.4 grams of heroin.

Stacey T. Cooley, 19, 402 Brandon Ave., 18 to 60 months, 12 months’ state probation, 150 hours community service for distributing 3.7 grams of cocaine and possession with intent to distribute 1.4 grams of cocaine.

Two people were sentenced to county prison. They were:

Barry L. Artis, 25, 687 Seventh Ave., 15 days to six months, 30 days’ Pre-Release Center, $1,025, 50 hours’ community service, credit for time served for DUI, small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension.

Dwight Sutton, 41, SCI-Camp Hill, one day to 12 months, credit for time served for theft by unlawful taking.

Three people were sentenced to intermediate punishment. They were:

Ross D. Harter, 26, 510 Shaw St., Avis, 60 months, 90 days’ LCP/PRC, $1,500, 75 hours’ community service for DUI.

James D. Grassmyer, 57, 2018 Zuni Lane, six months, five days’ LCP/PRC, $300, 50 hours’ community service for DUI.

Heather A. May, 36, 55 N. Third St., Hughesville, 12 months, six days’ LCP/PRC, $2,250, 12 months probation, 100 hours’ community service, credit for time served for two counts of DUI and an accident involving damage.

Five people were approved for Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition. They were:

Christine A. Rutkowski, 25, 507 E. Second St., South Williamsport, for theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.

Amy L. Gatz, 26, 1576 Randall Circle, for DUI.

Samantha W. Stutz, 19, 912 Cherry St., for DUI.

Mark A. Steinbacher, 26, 139 Nisbet Terrace, for DUI.

Linda M. Coffin, 64, 930 Michael Hollow Road, Muncy, for DUI.

One person was approved for probation without verdict. She was:

Tiffany M. Allred, 20, 724 Tucker St., for possession of a controlled substance and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
