2 accused of using woman’s bank card
Two people have been arrested on charges of using a woman’s bank card after stealing it from her purse while they were inside her West Fourth Street home, city police said.
Kevin Michael Saltsman, 22, of 1400 High St., and Jessica Lynn Zimmerman, 19, of 2017 W. Fourth St., have been charged with theft and access device fraud after allegedly stealing Holly Peterson’s debit card from her home at 1314 W. Fourth St. on Dec. 2, police said.
The two then used the card to make two withdrawals from Peterson’s bank account, totaling $537, police alleged in court papers.
Saltsman was arraigned last week before District Judge Jon E. Kemp and committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bail. Zimmerman was arraigned Wednesday before District Judge Gary A. Whiteman and jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail.
